Snow Crew - On Call
About The Position
VGS, Inc. is hiring an on-call Snow Crew member for the Carl B. Stokes U.S. Courthouse in Cleveland, Ohio. The role involves removing snow from outdoor walkways, sidewalks, stairways, doorways, and steps using shovels and/or snow blowers, and carrying bags of salt from the storeroom to where they are needed. The employee must follow safety procedures when operating equipment, report equipment malfunctions or unusual occurrences to the Project Manager, maintain equipment and supplies in an orderly fashion, and interact courteously and in a friendly manner with fellow employees, customers, and members of the public. The position pays $18.98 per hour and is on call, with some weekend project work as required. To begin the federal clearance process, applicants must present a Real ID marked with a star. Nice To Haves
- Previous custodial experience is preferred.
- Experience riding an ATV is preferred but not required.
