About The Position

The Snack Bar Attendant supports café operations at Fenmoor Golf Club by handling cash and reports, maintaining food quality and cleanliness, stocking supplies, and providing service to guests and members. The role includes using a point-of-sale system, checking identification for alcohol sales, and assisting the golf team as needed to deliver excellent guest service. The attendant also attends staff training meetings and performs opening and closing tasks.

Requirements

Neat appearance and compliance with uniform and hygiene standards.
Friendly, outgoing personality.
Ability to interact with members.
Positive attitude and ability to work as a team member.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
Alcohol Serve Safe certification, or willingness to obtain it.
Ability to learn the point-of-sale system.

Responsibilities

Handle bank and cash reports and make daily deposits.
Reconcile reports.
Maintain food quality and keep the surrounding area clean.
Maintain appropriate stock levels in the work area, including lifting and placing soft drinks in a cooler.
Check identification for alcohol sales.
Clean tables promptly after guests leave the café.
Stock food, beverages, and paper goods needed for the shift.
Perform required opening and closing side work.
Maintain and clean tables and the area in and around the café.
Carry out service tasks according to Reynolds Lake Oconee Service Excellence Standards.
Assist the golf team wherever needed to ensure excellent guest service.
Take orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
Attend staff training meetings.
