About The Position

Arizona Western College is seeking a Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Lead Advisor to work directly with small manufacturers and startups participating in the Manufacturing Business and Automation Accelerator (MBAA). This role will help business owners identify opportunities, develop practical growth strategies, and connect with resources to move their businesses forward. Grant funded through the Empower to Grow Program, this is an opportunity to combine business expertise with meaningful support for entrepreneurs across Southwest Arizona. Requirements

  • Small Business Association (SBA) Small Business Development Center (SBDC) certified advisor or equivalent
  • 5+ years of small business advising experience
  • Financial analysis and business planning expertise
  • Knowledge of SBA lending programs
  • Arizona Driver’s License or Equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Serves Students.
  • Delivers Small Business Association (SBA) SBDC-standard business advisement to Manufacturing Business and Automation Accelerator (MBAA) Track 2 and Track 3 participants.
  • Coordinates capital access referrals to SBA loan programs, USDA programs, and private lenders.
  • Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
