About The Position

As a Small Arms/Artillery Repairer, you’ll perform maintenance and repairs and keep a wide array of weapons, from small arms to field artillery and large ballistic missiles operating properly. Level 1,2, and 3 weaponsmithing.

Requirements

  • Interest in joining the Army.
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien.
  • 17 to 34 years old.
  • Healthy and in good physical condition.
  • In good moral standing with no felony-level offenses.
  • Able to meet height/weight standards.
  • No major medical procedures that would prohibit you from service.
  • No tattoos on the hands, neck, or face.
  • Pass ASVAB.
  • 10 weeks of Basic Training.
  • 7 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.
  • 93 ASVAB Score: General Maintenance (GM).
  • OR 88: General Maintenance (GM) and 85: General Technical (GT).

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on weapons.
  • Keep a wide array of weapons operating properly, from small arms to field artillery and large ballistic missiles.
  • Level 1, 2, and 3 weaponsmithing.
