About The Position

As a Small Arms/Artillery Repairer, you’ll perform maintenance and repairs and keep a wide array of weapons, from small arms to field artillery and large ballistic missiles operating properly. Level 1,2, and 3 weaponsmithing.

Requirements

Interest in joining the Army.
U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien.
17 to 34 years old.
Healthy and in good physical condition.
In good moral standing with no felony-level offenses.
Able to meet height/weight standards.
No major medical procedures that would prohibit you from service.
No tattoos on the hands, neck, or face.
Pass ASVAB.
10 weeks of Basic Training.
7 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.
93 ASVAB Score: General Maintenance (GM).
OR 88: General Maintenance (GM) and 85: General Technical (GT).

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on weapons.
Keep a wide array of weapons operating properly, from small arms to field artillery and large ballistic missiles.
Level 1, 2, and 3 weaponsmithing.
