About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company working with freelance teachers of 99+ languages in hundreds of cities worldwide. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere. We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and travel purposes. We are currently looking for a Slovak Teacher for one of our clients in Chichester, United Kingdom. The course type is General, with a one-to-one format, totaling 20 hours. Each session is one-hour long and will be conducted online. The student is at an Elementary level, aged 17 and under. The schedule is precisely 1 hour on Saturday at 10 am, UK timezone. The motivation for this course is to help Stephanie, a child of Slovak background who used to speak Slovak but has lost it since being in placement, to start speaking Slovak again.
Requirements
- Native Slovak speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of Chichester, United Kingdom.
- Ability to submit CV with references, availability, and earliest possible start date.
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching children or teenagers.
- Experience with students who have previously spoken the language but lost fluency.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one Slovak language training to a student aged 17 and under.
- Conduct one-hour online sessions.
- Adhere to the specified schedule of Saturday at 10 am, UK timezone.
- Adapt teaching methods to help the student regain Slovak language skills.
