About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Slovak language teacher for a two-to-one conversational Slovak class. The students are beginners and require a 30-hour course, consisting of 15 two-hour lessons, held once per week at their home in Canton, MI. The classes are scheduled for late afternoons/early evenings on Mondays or Tuesdays and are expected to start as soon as possible. The location and schedule may be flexible based on mutual availability. This is a freelance, part-time position.

Requirements

• Native Slovak speaker OR hold a teaching degree.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Hold a valid working visa.
• Live within 20 miles of Canton, MI, 48187.
• Meet the specified conditions for application.

Responsibilities

• Conduct two-to-one conversational Slovak classes for beginner students.
• Deliver a 30-hour course (15x2-hour lessons).
• Travel to the client's home in Canton, MI for lessons.
• Adapt schedule and location based on availability.
• Submit CV with references and indicate availability.
