About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company working with freelance teachers of 99+ languages in hundreds of cities worldwide. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere. We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and purposes. We are currently looking for a Japanese Teacher for one of our clients in Swansea, United Kingdom. This is a freelance, part-time position. The course is general, one-to-one format with a total of 20 hours, with each session being two hours long. The student is a beginner, aged 18-24, and the schedule is once per week on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:30 PM. The start date is June 1, 2026. The student's motivation is to travel to Japan in September for two weeks, and they have been wanting to learn a language for a while.
Requirements
- Be a native Japanese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter.
- Have a valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location (SA8 4QL, Swansea).
- Be available to start on 2026-06-01.
- Submit CV with references (if available).
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide customized language training to professionals and private students.
- Teach Japanese language to a beginner student in Swansea, United Kingdom.
- Conduct one-to-one sessions.
