About The Position

The Slot Technician II is responsible for the repair, relocation, and preventive maintenance of all slot machines to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software issues, performing routine inspections and updates, and ensuring proper installation and configuration during machine moves. The technician will maintain accurate documentation and adhere to company policies and gaming regulations to support efficient and compliant operations.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or over
Knowledge of electronics, computer systems, and mechanical operations
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations.

Slot experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Bi-lingual (Spanish/English or other languages) preferred

Accurately completes and updates all required documentation, including departmental logs, shift reports, preventive maintenance (PM) logs, and M.E.A.L. cards.
Ensures records are thorough, timely, and compliant with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Ensures all slot machine signage, lighting, and display graphics are properly functioning, clean, and visually appealing.
Reports and resolves issues promptly to maintain an attractive and professional gaming environment.
Verifies that all slot machines are properly locked, sealed, and operating within compliance guidelines.
Monitors for suspicious activity and reports discrepancies immediately to protect company assets and maintain regulatory compliance.
Clearly communicates details regarding players club rewards, promotions, property features, and special events.
Encourages guest participation in marketing programs to enhance their overall experience and loyalty.
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills by clearly conveying information to guests, coworkers, and management.
Completes reports and documentation accurately and professionally.
Remains flexible and adaptable by performing additional tasks as directed by management to support departmental and organizational goals.
