About The Position

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair, relocation, and preventive maintenance of all slot machines to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, and software issues; performs routine inspections and updates; and ensures proper installation and configuration during machine moves. Maintains accurate documentation and adheres to company policies and gaming regulations to support efficient and compliant operations.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or over
  • Slot experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of electronics, computer systems, and mechanical operations
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English or other languages) preferred
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling in a loud upbeat environment
  • Manual dexterity for working with small components and tools
  • Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently delivers exceptional service to guests and team members by maintaining a professional, courteous, and approachable demeanor.
  • Responds promptly to guest inquiries and concerns, ensuring a positive gaming experience while supporting internal teams to maintain efficient operations.
  • Fosters strong working relationships across departments through teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect.
  • Collaborates effectively with staff and management to ensure smooth daily operations and timely resolution of issues.
  • Performs routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance on slot equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with company standards.
  • Adheres strictly to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Accurately completes and updates all required documentation, including departmental logs, shift reports, preventive maintenance (PM) logs, and M.E.A.L. cards. Ensures records are thorough, timely, and compliant with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures all slot machine signage, lighting, and display graphics are properly functioning, clean, and visually appealing. Reports and resolves issues promptly to maintain an attractive and professional gaming environment.
  • Verifies that all slot machines are properly locked, sealed, and operating within compliance guidelines. Monitors for suspicious activity and reports discrepancies immediately to protect company assets and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Clearly communicates details regarding Players Club rewards, promotions, property features, and special events. Encourages guest participation in marketing programs to enhance their overall experience and loyalty.
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills by clearly conveying information to guests, coworkers, and management. Completes reports and documentation accurately and professionally.
  • Remains flexible and adaptable by performing additional tasks as directed by management to support departmental and organizational goals.
