About The Position

This role involves providing fast, friendly service, performing repairs and preventative maintenance on slot machines, and assisting with jackpots/fills. The position requires maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment, staying aware of company services, promotions, and events, and performing repair and modification work on all aspects of mechanical and electro-mechanical slot machines. The Slot Tech will also submit suggestions for operational and safety improvements, complete paperwork accurately and confidentially, and possess a working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of Oasis is considered a plus. The role requires the ability to obtain Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and involves physical requirements such as standing and walking for prolonged periods, reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, lifting occasionally, and moving about the casino and operational areas. Manual dexterity and the ability to use fingers, hands, and operate tools are also necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English language.
• High School level math. Adding, subtracting.
• Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work successfully with the public and fellow employees.
• Knowledge of slot repair operations.
• Advanced electronic knowledge.
• Ability to multi-task
• Be aware of your surroundings at all times. Inform the Manager on Duty of any and all suspicious activity immediately.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming Control Board registration.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods; must be able to reach, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, and lift occasionally; must be able to move about the casino and operational areas.
• Must have manual dexterity, ability to feel, use fingers, hands, operate tools.

Responsibilities

• Provides consistently prompt, courteous service to guest in professional manner.
• Maintains a safe, clean and comfortable work environment at all times.
• Maintains constant awareness of services, promotions, and events offered by Pioneer Crossing.
• Performs the repair and modification work on slot machines; repairs all aspects of mechanical and electro-mechanical slot machines.
• Submits suggestions to the Slot Dept. regarding improvements in operations and safety.
• Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner in compliance with company, state and federal policies and regulations; keeps paperwork confidential at all times.
