About The Position

This role involves installing, testing, and maintaining components, sub-systems, and systems essential for continuous business operations. The Slot Tech I will inspect and test assigned equipment, identify defective parts, and recommend corrections. They will also perform necessary adjustments and repairs to electronic and electro-mechanical equipment, conduct preventative maintenance on slot machines, and adhere to all safety regulations, reporting any hazards to supervision.

Requirements

• Must have the ability to obtain a Gaming License issued by the Louisiana State Police
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Training in repair of electrical and/or electronic equipment
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies or members of the staff
• Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner
• Ability to perform normal mathematical computations in regard to the implementation of current duties
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables
• The employee is frequently required to sit while working
• The employee regularly is required to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, crawl in small spaces, reach with arms and hands
• Ability to lift at least 75 pounds

Responsibilities

• Installing, testing and maintaining components, sub-systems and systems required for efficient and continuous conduction of business operations
• Inspecting and testing assigned equipment, noting all defective parts and making recommendations for correction
• Performing required adjustments and repairs to electronic and electro-mechanical equipment as assigned
• Maintain maximum efficiency, performing preventative maintenance to slot machines either on the floor or in the slot shop
• Observing all safety regulations in the performance of assigned duties and reporting any safety hazards to assigned supervisory
