This role involves managing staffing levels, bank/floor assignments, and daily/weekly schedules, including breaks. A key aspect of the position is training slot employees, providing them with the knowledge and direction needed to perform their responsibilities effectively. The supervisor must also monitor compliance with all company, departmental, and regulatory rules, providing feedback and disciplinary action as necessary. They are expected to exhibit sound decision-making, motivate personnel, and demonstrate effective supervisory skills. A thorough understanding of various slot machine types, their functions, malfunctions, and layout schedules is required. The role includes maintaining the security of games, money, and employees, building long-term customer relationships, and handling customer disputes to ensure satisfaction. Performance reviews, disciplinary notices, and superior job performance notices must be completed accurately and on time. The supervisor will monitor employee performance, providing training and coaching, and make recommendations to improve departmental efficiency and business growth. Coordination with support service departments and acting as a role model for the company are also essential. Adherence to attendance guidelines and company policies is mandatory. The role also involves verifying jackpot transactions, complying with IRS and internal controls regarding payouts, and administering coaching and staff development. Assisting patrons, investigating complaints, and ensuring service equipment is handled safely are part of the duties. Staying current on supervisory training, including guest service, responsible gaming, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness, is required. All team members must follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, which involves proactively greeting guests and fellow team members. Participation in mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions is expected. The ability to get along with co-workers and work as a team is crucial. The role requires the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, respond to visual and aural cues, and maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance. Compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory policies and procedures is necessary. The position requires flexibility to work varied schedules, including holidays, nights, weekends, and a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
