About The Position

The incumbent in this position is responsible for ensuring maximum guest service and satisfaction of external as well as internal guests through the organization and supervision of assigned areas according to established Slot Department policies and procedures. This position is responsible for learning and enforcing the various policies and procedures required of the Slot Department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1-year supervisory experience.
  • Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Virginia Lottery.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must successfully pass drug screening.
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Knowledge of pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of Hard Rock operations and slot related machinery.
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures as well as knowledge of and ability to identify various cheating techniques.
  • Knowledge of games manuals, policies, procedures, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate or supervise the work of others.
  • Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.
  • Ability to present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
  • Ability to observe and direct actions of subordinates/trainees.
  • Ability to review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests and team members of the organization.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to work with computers.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of cash.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior slot experience and Gaming industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in the Gaming industry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • General responsibility for assigned area/capacity of Electronic Gaming Devices (EGD) operation during assigned shift.
  • Ensures that all personnel are informed of and comply with all relative Federal, State, and internal policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Responsible for the training, development, counseling, and necessary discipline, within assigned parameters.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Manages subordinates in the Slot Department.
  • Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems of employees and guests.
  • Perform work regularly and adheres to all Indiana Gaming Regulations.
