About The Position

The Slot/Keno/Bingo Attendant is responsible for consistently providing a high degree of prompt, considerate and courteous guest service by assisting guests with gaming transactions, issues and services. This role involves managing various aspects of slot machines, keno games, and bingo sales, ensuring accurate transactions, maintaining inventory, and adhering to all gaming regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement of 21 years old.
  • General understanding of computer programs, including all Windows applications.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Must participate in and maintain Title 31 requirements.
  • Possess or obtain a Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing, or by other acceptable means.
  • Comply with pre-employment, random, and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
  • Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
  • Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on department needs and special casino events.
  • Must be able to exchange information efficiently using an earpiece on a multichannel radio.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for up to 12 hours.
  • Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend, and squat frequently.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed.

  • Cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor assigned slot machine area for guest needs.
  • Verify slot machine paper fills and perform hand pays.
  • Conduct accurate cash transactions and jackpot cash outs.
  • Perform minor slot machine maintenance.
  • Learn and condition basic keno tickets.
  • Scan winning keno tickets, calculate winnings, and pay guests.
  • Maintain game pace and control while pulling keno numbers and writing tickets.
  • Run assigned casino areas to obtain keno tickets for every game played.
  • Open and/or close keno games according to schedule.
  • Run Keno games at a minimum of six minutes per game.
  • Secure inventory and maintain accurate inventory records for Keno.
  • Maintain IRS license for multi-game tickets.
  • Secure and maintain accurate inventory records for Bingo.
  • Sell all Bingo games, related products, and suggest additional items.
  • Perform transactions on a remote validation system.
  • Demonstrate proficiency and accuracy in performing transactions with money and completing paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, keeping the guest area stocked with flyers.
  • Perform on-line accounting functions and complete associated paperwork.
  • Keep track of large amounts of cash during payouts and sales.
  • Comply with all gaming regulations regarding alcohol sales.
  • Respond to and assess the condition of machines needing service.
  • Comply with all casino policies and procedures, MICs, Gaming Rules and Regulations, and Title 31 requirements.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management.
