About The Position

We are currently hiring a part-time Slot Attendant to join our Chances Castlegar Team. Must have availability for evenings and weekends. In this position you will be providing front-line customer service by answering questions, assisting with orientation of games and working to create a positive and memorable gaming experience for all of our guests.

Requirements

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Ability to successfully obtain a Serving It Right certificate and a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch.
• Must be 19+

Responsibilities

• Communicating weekly and monthly promotions and events to customers.
• Accepting and paying verified wins.
• Validating TITO tickets from slot machines.
• Issuing slot and lotto jackpots and cancelled credits.
• Proactively delivering amazing service by addressing guest needs and any machine problems.
• Clearing bill and ticket jams and checking game and voucher histories to maintain game integrity.
