About The Position

This position operates machinery to maintain the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensure the correct ingredients and supplies are used on the line. The employee monitors and adjusts machine settings as needed and notifies a supervisor when equipment may require maintenance, while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. The role is restricted to team members currently working at this facility or complex. Team members at another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner. Applicants must complete an additional task after submitting an application to be considered for employment.

Requirements

Basic math skills.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
Able to perform tasks for periods of 8 hours on a concrete floor, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
Able to work for at least 8 hours in temperatures at or below 35 degrees Fahrenheit.
Must have no more than 4 attendance occurrences.
Must not have a disciplinary suspension on file within the past 6 months.
Must have been in the current position for at least 6 months, unless this job is a higher class than the current position.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
