About The Position
This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines require maintenance, while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
- Ability to perform tasks for periods of 8 hours on a concrete floor, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
- Ability to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours.
- Must not have more than 4 attendance occurrences.
- Must not have a disciplinary suspension on file in the past 6 months.
- Must be in your current position for a minimum of six (6) months unless this job is a higher class than you currently hold.
