About The Position

Join the Star Sleep & Wellness Team! At our practice, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients with sleep disorders. We go beyond traditional medical practices by building lasting relationships with our patients and offering personalized, lifetime care. As a forward-thinking team, we’re constantly at the forefront of innovations in dental sleep medicine. We are excited to continue the growth of our Oral Device/PAP Workshop Department with new additions to the team that are passionate about patient care and can add value to our workplace culture. While education and experience in the medical field is appreciated, this is not required. We are willing to train individuals with a desire to work in healthcare! All new team members receive comprehensive, in-depth training to ensure their success in the role. This position will be based primarily out of our Frisco location. However, team members will be expected to travel to other locations throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex on scheduled workshop days.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support patient workshops by delivering oral devices and PAP equipment, providing hands‑on demonstrations, and ensuring patients feel confident in their therapy instructions.
  • Prepare and organize workshop materials, including printing forms, pulling patient cases, staging supplies, and setting up/resetting workshop rooms.
  • Support patient documentation and chart accuracy through pre‑ and post‑chart preparation, scanning documents, and ensuring completion of required forms.
  • Assist with patient coordination, including scheduling follow‑ups, supporting therapy‑related needs, and collecting payments when appropriate.
  • Maintain operational excellence by tracking trends, communicating concerns to leadership, supporting KPI tracking, and helping restock and organize supplies.
  • Support departmental growth, including assisting with new workshop location onboarding and ensuring consistent patient education across sites.
  • Contribute to team training and consistency by helping onboard new team members and reinforcing standardized messaging and patient experience protocols.
