About The Position

Carriage Hill Health & Rehab Center in Fredericksburg, Virginia, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Education Coordinator. The coordinator provides employee orientation and education, supports effective onboarding for nurses and CNAs, and assesses nursing staff education and clinical needs. The role includes daily patient care rounds and helping develop the center’s annual non-eLearning education plan. The position is full-time, day shift, with a listed salary range of $100,000 to $110,000 per year.

Requirements

Current RN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
Three years of experience in long-term care, including experience as a nursing leader.
Exceptional clinical skills, including IV therapy.
Solid understanding of federal and state regulations for long-term care.

Responsibilities

Direct and provide orientation for new employees.
Work with clinical staff during orientation to ensure effective onboarding for nurses and CNAs.
Coordinate, conduct, and validate completion of competency checklists for all nursing staff upon hire, annually, and as needed.
Conduct daily patient care rounds to assess the nursing staff’s educational and clinical needs.
Assist in developing the center’s annual non-eLearning education plan.
