Neurocare is offering a Paid Sleep Technologist Training Program for motivated individuals looking to start a career in healthcare. This program provides hands-on clinical training in leading hospitals and sleep centers throughout Massachusetts, with no previous sleep medicine experience required. The training covers direct patient care, clinical monitoring, medical technology, critical thinking, medical documentation, and healthcare communication. This experience serves as a strong foundation for various healthcare careers such as nursing, physician assistant programs, medical school, respiratory therapy, neurodiagnostics, and other allied health professions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using computers and technology
- Reliable and professional
- Comfortable working overnight shifts
- Willingness to learn and grow in healthcare
Responsibilities
- Preparing patients for overnight sleep studies
- Applying monitoring equipment and sensors
- Monitoring patient safety and sleep data throughout the night
- Recording clinical observations
- Working closely with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic information
