About The Position
Neurocare is offering a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to begin a healthcare career through their Paid Sleep Technologist Training Program. This program requires no previous sleep medicine experience and provides paid, hands-on clinical training in leading hospitals and sleep centers throughout Massachusetts. The program is designed for recent college graduates or individuals seeking a rewarding career in healthcare, offering a solid foundation for various allied health professions. As a Sleep Technologist, you will develop skills in direct patient care, clinical monitoring, medical technology, critical thinking, medical documentation, and healthcare communication.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using computers and technology
- Reliable and professional
- Comfortable working overnight shifts
- Willingness to learn and grow in healthcare
Responsibilities
- Preparing patients for overnight sleep studies
- Applying monitoring equipment and sensors
- Monitoring patient safety and sleep data throughout the night
- Recording clinical observations
- Working closely with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic information
- Delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
