About The Position

This is a full-time, seasonal role beginning June 2026. Based at the remote Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park, this on‑site living role places you 100 km from Jasper and surrounded by stunning glacier views and endless mountain adventure. You’ll be part of a destination that includes the Glacier View Lodge, dining outlets, retail, and the world‑famous Glacier Adventure and Skywalk. Staff live on‑site with accommodations and three hot meals per day.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and comfortable engaging with different sized groups.
  • Energetic, charismatic and positive individual.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Proactive and always seeking out the next task.
  • Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote outdoor environment.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Able to stand and work outside in varying mountain weather conditions (snow, rain, wind, hail, sun) for the entire duration of an 8-hour shift.
  • Must meet Pursuit grooming and appearance standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospitality, tourism, guiding or customer service is an asset.
  • Class 5 Canadian driver’s license (with clean abstract) an asset but not required.
  • Multi-lingual skills are an asset but not required.
  • Standard First-Aid or higher is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering exceptional hospitality every day to guests visiting from around the world.
  • Providing guests with a 30-minute guided tour experience covering topics such as geology, wildlife, glaciers, climate change and history, in an engaging, clear and inspiring way.
  • Storytelling, guest engagement and passion for this iconic location in the Canadian Rockies.
  • Welcoming face of the Skywalk, creating meaningful and memorable experiences for every guest.
  • Rotating through various interpretive stations, engaging groups of guests with 10 – 15-minute presentations.
  • Talking with guests, anticipating guests’ needs, taking photos and ensuring safety on the Skywalk.
  • Being proactive with maintenance issues and safety concerns, reporting to the Manager and Supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Daily operational tasks such as loading shuttle buses, providing audio tours, engaging with the kids’ program, wayfinding and managing guest flow.
  • Shared cleaning duties and maintaining a high level of cleanliness of the entire attraction and facilities.
  • Other duties as assigned by your employer.
