About The Position

The Skip and Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible for investigating and preventing financial losses within the company, typically related to first payment defaults, repossessions, account repurchases and charge offs. This is accomplished with skip tracing, and target calling campaigns. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 2 years of customer service experience required
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment

Nice To Haves

  • Financial industry experience preferred
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) candidates beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Skip tracing to include TLOs and internet research for assigned accounts
  • Receive inbound collections & 2nd voice calls
  • Monitor email inboxes and update account or respond to customer as appropriate
  • Make outbound dials from calling queues to resolve customer accounts
  • Spot trends on first payment defaults and report information to the Resolution Team
  • Assist in answering appropriate overflow ring group calls
