About The Position

Sofive Soccer Center is seeking an enthusiastic, kid-centric Skills Institute Coach to lead fun, friendly, and structured weekly soccer classes for children ages 5 to 12. Coaches use the Skills Institute curriculum to teach core technical skills and foster players’ development, confidence, and character. The role includes representing the Sofive, Skills Institute, and Lil’ Kickers brands, supporting marketing efforts, and assisting with special events when needed. Weekend availability is required, with additional opportunities on weekday afternoons and evenings. Shifts are consistent throughout each 13-week season. Compensation is $18.42 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to work with children ages 5 to 12 and keep them engaged.
• Background check required.
• Weekend availability is required.

Nice To Haves

• Some soccer playing experience is helpful.
• Limited coaching experience is sufficient; extensive coaching experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging soccer training sessions for children ages 5 to 12.
• Use the Skills Institute curriculum to teach dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork.
• Create a positive, encouraging, and challenging environment for players.
• Promote character development by emphasizing teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
• Build meaningful relationships with players and families.
• Represent the Sofive, Skills Institute, and Lil’ Kickers brands enthusiastically.
• Support marketing efforts and assist with special events when needed.
