Skills Coordinator - Cayuga County
About The Position
Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is seeking a full-time Skills Coordinator in Auburn, New York, in Cayuga County. Under the direction of the Site Supervisor, the Skills Coordinator provides supervision and oversight to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) when the Site Supervisor is absent. The role delivers person-directed services, safeguards the health and safety of people supported, and maintains Life Plan documentation. The Skills Coordinator follows the program budget, maintains accurate financial records, and ensures services are delivered according to individuals’ Life Plans with required documentation completed contemporaneously. The role oversees staff training so assigned personnel are prepared for their DSP duties, and maintains effective relationships with service providers, community resources, and families. The Skills Coordinator also helps ensure the site is safe and clean and promptly addresses areas of concern. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11 AM to 7 PM, for 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate is $19.80–$22.21 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
- Certification in Medication Administration.
- Valid driver’s license.

- One year of supervisory experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and oversight to Direct Support Professionals in the Site Supervisor’s absence.
