About The Position

Mozaic, a chapter of The Arc NY, is seeking a full-time Skills Coordinator in Auburn, Cayuga County, New York. Under the direction of the Site Supervisor, the Skills Coordinator provides supervision and oversight to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) when the Site Supervisor is absent. The role delivers person-directed services, supports the health and safety of people served, and maintains Life Plan documentation.

The Skills Coordinator follows the program budget, maintains accurate financial documentation, and ensures services are delivered according to individuals’ Life Plans with required documentation completed contemporaneously. The role oversees staff training so assigned personnel are prepared for their DSP duties, maintains effective relationships with service providers, community resources, and families, and ensures the site is safe and clean by promptly addressing concerns.

The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11 AM to 7 PM, for 37.5 hours per week. Pay is $19.80–$22.21 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Certification in Medication Administration.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• One year of supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and oversight to Direct Support Professionals in the Site Supervisor’s absence.

• Follow the program budget and maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Ensure services are provided according to individuals’ Life Plans and that required documentation is completed contemporaneously.
• Oversee staff training and ensure assigned personnel are prepared for their DSP duties.
• Maintain effective relationships with service providers, community resources, and families.
• Ensure the site remains safe and clean, promptly addressing areas of concern.
