About The Position
Join our team as a Skilled Trades Helper and support a wide range of maintenance, repair, and installation projects across residential and commercial properties. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience, enjoys physical work, and is eager to learn from experienced tradespeople. You’ll play a key role in supporting skilled tradespeople while gaining real experience in carpentry, maintenance, and repair work. We value teamwork, safety, and growth — and we’re looking for someone who wants to build a future in the trades.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and maintenance tasks (experience helpful but not required)
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Physical stamina; able to lift up to 80 lbs and perform manual labor
- Clear communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Must live on Cape Cod
- Must be 18+ years old
Responsibilities
- Assist service professionals with general repairs, routine maintenance, and basic installations
- Gather tools, materials, and equipment needed for each job
- Support minor carpentry tasks and general maintenance duties under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Help with dump runs and material disposal
- Follow instructions carefully and work efficiently as part of a team
