About The Position

The Skilled Technician supports development, assembly, troubleshooting, testing, and manufacturing of electrical systems. This hands-on, on-site role builds, integrates, and supports prototype and low-volume production hardware for hybrid-electrical mining truck retrofit kits, including hybrid power systems, high-voltage battery systems, electrical control systems, and complex wiring harnesses. The technician uses appropriate tools and measuring instruments to deliver successful builds, support production objectives, and improve operational efficiency. The role follows health, safety, environmental, quality, and workmanship requirements; performs and documents preventive, corrective, predictive, and emergency maintenance; and supports equipment failure analysis. It also involves coordinating activities and sharing technical expertise with team members, collaborating with support departments on process improvements, and maintaining documentation and an organized work environment. The technician should be able to work independently and safely in an R&D and manufacturing environment and support prototype hardware builds and testing.
