About The Position

Hawthorne House in Freeport, Maine, is seeking a dedicated Skilled Nurse Manager to create and manage a patient-focused environment of care. The role leads the nursing department, establishes and elevates standards for patient care, trains and develops new team members, and provides hands-on guidance to nursing staff. The manager will receive mentorship and collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Administrator, with opportunities to grow within the facility or across the organization’s homes throughout Maine.

Requirements

• Valid State of Maine nursing license.
• Demonstrated knowledge and clinical experience sufficient to perform the duties.
• Strong leadership aptitude or prior experience guiding healthcare teams.
• Knowledge and practical use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and/or solid general computer skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly.
• Job offer is contingent upon excellent professional references and passing the Maine State Background Check.
