About The Position

Quanex is seeking a dedicated Skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Wahpeton, North Dakota. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a team to manufacture high-quality components while maintaining a strong focus on efficiency and workplace safety. Additionally, you will set-up, operate and verify the quality of work on assigned machine(s) in a manner which will consistently meet production standards and qualifications. The level for each machine operator is determined by management based on the ability to train others and number of machines the operator can run while meeting production standards and quality requirements.

Requirements

High School or equivalent education, required.
Ability to read prints and measuring instruments.
Ability to perform detailed work that requires high levels of concentration.
Bringing a positive attitude and team-oriented mentality.

Nice To Haves

6 months+ of related machine operating experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
Monitors product to ensure that quality standards are being met.
Set-Up, operate, and verify work on assigned machine.
Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes all documentation related to the position.
Ability to train others as requested.
Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
