Sun & Ski Sports is seeking a driven and skilled Ski Technician to join our team! Requirements

Experience with ski and/or snowboard tuning required.
Minimum 1 year of service technician experience.
Strong selling skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting customer relationships.
Basic computer skills, with a willingness to learn the point-of-sale/register system.

Background in retail and customer service, preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet every customer with enthusiasm and a genuine smile, creating a welcoming environment.
Provide exceptional customer service, exceeding guest expectations with every interaction.
Assess and determine each customer’s equipment needs based on skill level and preferences.
Perform high-quality tunes, mounting, adjustments, and repairs in accordance with company and industry guidelines.
Follow all safety protocols for the use of tools and equipment.
Accurately complete work order documentation and prioritize service requests efficiently.
Ensure all pricing is accurate, including promotional and advertised specials.
Act as a knowledgeable resource, offering expert advice on ski gear and related products.
Stay familiar with in-store merchandise, including brands, features, and benefits, to provide tailored recommendations.
Remain current on ski industry trends and participate in product knowledge clinics or training camps.
Report any suspicious activity or safety concerns to management.
Maintain loss prevention standards, including accurate cash handling and minimizing inventory shrinkage.
