About The Position

As a Site Superintendent focused on sitework, you will be leading the construction and improvement of diverse projects across Vermont. These complex sitework projects include large yard pipe, deep excavations, and foundation preparation. Such projects represent new and exciting opportunities every day for an innovative construction leader. PC offers a collaborative and problem-solving environment where our leaders can soar. The Superintendent assumes leadership of all field operations, including self-performed and subcontracted work, and is responsible for the successful execution of field work and project safety for one of the nation’s top safety-rated contractors. The right candidate will have five years’ experience successfully supervising employees and subcontractors on a water/wastewater construction site. Must be safety focused and have excellent communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

Manage all field activities and personnel on site; you are the safety leader of the construction site.
Plan and sequence all work; identify and manage the resources required to maintain a successful schedule and site logistics.
Coordinate construction activities, shutdowns, testing and inspections.
Manage relations with our clients, subcontractors and vendors.
Participate in establishing the project budget and executing cost control measures.
Contribute to project start-up and close-out efforts.
Manage quality assurance, including inspection and punch list items.
Mentor and coach direct reports.
