About The Position

We are supporting a major construction project in Madison, AL and are looking for a strong, field-focused Safety Leader to own safety on-site for the duration of the project (estimated June - November). This is a project-based contract assignment, ideal for safety professionals who enjoy stepping into active construction environments, leading safety during critical phases of work, and delivering results within a defined timeframe.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years construction safety experience
• Minimum of OSHA 30-hour construction safety awareness course
• Working knowledge of EHS regulations and hazard control methods
• Demonstrate ability to conduct EHS training
• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as other applications as needed
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to effectively train people
• Good attention to detail with emphasis on safety and quality
• Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential information
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to creatively develop and design solutions
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• At the time of hire, employees will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility.

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) is preferred.
