About The Position

This is a project-based contract assignment for a field-focused Safety Leader to manage safety on-site for a major construction project in Madison, AL. The project is estimated to run from June to November. The role is ideal for safety professionals who enjoy stepping into active construction environments, leading safety during critical phases of work, and delivering results within a defined timeframe.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years construction safety experience
• Minimum of OSHA 30-hour construction safety awareness course
• Working knowledge of EHS regulations and hazard control methods
• Ability to conduct EHS training
• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as other applications as needed
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to effectively train people
• Good attention to detail with emphasis on safety and quality
• Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential information
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to creatively develop and design solutions

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
