About The Position

The SRE I (Site Reliability Engineer I) is a DevOps-focused member of the Infrastructure Operations team, reporting to the Director, Infrastructure Operations. The role supports the tooling, pipelines, frameworks, and technologies underpinning the company’s infrastructure platforms, combining software engineering principles with DevOps expertise to automate and streamline the software delivery lifecycle. The position focuses on Infrastructure as Code, AWS cloud infrastructure design, CI/CD platforms, and operational automation. The SRE partners with Engineering and Information Security teams to develop infrastructure solutions, contribute to RFCs, standards, and frameworks, and build internal tools, modules, and libraries. The work emphasizes automation, resiliency, availability, scalability, performance, security, and cost effectiveness, primarily using open-source technologies. The role also provides full-stack DevOps support and guidance to software engineering teams, promotes DevOps practices, documents operational procedures, and mentors colleagues. It includes participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation, production incident response, blameless postmortems, deployment procedures, and defining and managing SLOs and SLIs. This position is fully remote within the U.S., with Los Angeles or Las Vegas preferred, and may require travel of up to 10%. It is contingent upon satisfactory completion of an extensive Federal Government background check for a Public Trust Position. The stated eligibility requirements include active U.S. citizenship or green card status, at least three years of U.S. residence, and a U.S. work location. Sponsorship is not available.
