The Quality Control Manager (QCM) for the Robins Air Force Base SW Annex Building 125 Repair and Renovations Project is responsible for implementing and managing the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) system for all features of work in accordance with the contract requirements and USACE quality control procedures. This role provides daily onsite oversight of quality and documentation and coordinates with the Site Superintendent, Project Manager, subcontractors, testing laboratories, USACE Quality Assurance (QA) personnel, and Government representatives to ensure the work complies with the contract plans, specifications, approved submittals, and schedule. The project includes construction of a new offices inside an existing three-story historic building at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. The work consists of civil, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, electrical, mass communications notification systems, rough-in and all finish work. The buildout includes all new office, breakroom, toilet facilities, and public spaces. An elevator is to be installed. General knowledge of all subtrade building requirements is required for this person to function properly on this project. The QCM will lead and document the USACE three-phase control process for each definable feature of work and ensure required inspections, tests, and quality records are completed and maintained. The QCM must be employed by the Prime Contractor, and the primary duty of this position is management and implementation of the QC program for this contract.
