About The Position

The WTCC QA Manager leads the WTCC Quality Management System (QMS) and provides independent oversight of quality program implementation across Commissioning, Maintenance, and Operations. The position has direct and unfettered access to senior leadership to ensure quality issues are identified, decisions are made independently of cost and schedule pressures, and corrective actions are effective. The manager formulates and executes the audit/assessment program, Quality Control Program, and Quality Engineering program, and verifies the adequacy and implementation of applicable QA programs within WTCC’s scope of work. The position is performed under the day-to-day direction, control, and supervision of WTCC. The manager directly leads the WTCC Quality Assurance team, including audits/assessments, Quality Engineering, Quality Control, and site quality functions. The role has authority over a management team that supervises QA engineers, auditors, and inspectors; approves specified personnel certifications and recertifications; conducts performance evaluations; sets quality objectives, staffing plans, and development goals; and ensures resources are available to meet program obligations. The manager maintains organizational freedom for QA to identify problems and verify implementation of solutions. This position is located at the construction site, 22 miles north of Richland, and follows a 4 x 10 schedule, Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The work combines desk and computer-based duties, presentations and meetings, and oversight of field activities involving inspections, testing, and equipment operations. The role requires authorization to work and remain in the United States without current or future Amentum visa sponsorship, successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check, and the ability to obtain a Department of Energy badge for Hanford Site access. Additional security requirements apply to non-U.S. citizens from countries identified by DOE as posing heightened security concerns.
