Raytheon in State College, PA is seeking a Full-Time Guard for third shift to maintain security of the facility and to ensure a safe environment for employees. In order to be successful in this position you must be a team player who can work independently and be available for all three shift, weekends and holidays and work overtime as needed.

Requirements

HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
DoD Clearance: Top Secret
Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Nice To Haves

Experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Responsibilities

Operate a security control center by monitoring closed-circuit television, access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm and HVAC systems.
Respond to alarms and emergencies.
Investigate unusual events and suspicious activities.
Patrol the facility to inspect access points and conduct equipment, temperature and building checks.
Open and close secure areas.
Process visitors in and out of the facility.
Make reports of violations, incidents, suspicious activities and facilities issues.
