About The Position

Delaware Valley Paving is seeking a motivated and experienced Site Project Manager-Superintendent to oversee paving projects across the country. The role involves managing project sites, coordinating with teams, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Candidates may be based anywhere, but must be able to reasonably commute to a large airport due to the extensive travel required. Travel to project locations is expected weekly, for approximately nine months of the year.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Project Manager or Superintendent, preferably in paving or heavy civil construction.
• Willingness and ability to travel weekly and spend significant time on the road, approximately nine months per year.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to reasonably commute to a large airport.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise paving projects on-site throughout the country.
• Travel weekly to project locations, with travel expected approximately nine months of the year.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to support smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and on-site safety compliance.
• Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and company leadership.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and schedules.
• Identify and resolve issues or delays that may affect project timelines.
