Site Materials Manager
About The Position
Agilix Solutions is seeking a Site Materials Manager to lead and develop employees and oversee customer-site operations within a Site Materials/VMI account. The role is responsible for customer service, operational accuracy, warehouse inventory, and the receiving, shipping, warehousing, distribution, and staffing functions at the site. The manager works across Agilix Solutions departments to deliver the Site Materials value proposition, oversees the Business Management System for operational, sales, warehouse, and inventory processes, and recommends efficient workflows. The role reports to the VP of Business Development or VP of Branch Support. Agilix Solutions provides electrical, commercial, and industrial supplies and solutions, and emphasizes integrity, innovation, accountability, commitment, teamwork, mutual respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in warehousing and inventory management.
- 3–5 years of experience managing small teams of employees.
- Knowledge of sales, administration, warehouse operations, and industrial plant workflow.
- Leadership experience hiring, training, supervising, and motivating employees.
- Commitment to customer service and providing quality solutions to internal and external customers.
- Proficiency and comfort working with database software, such as INFOR SX.E ERP, CribMaster, order entry, and job management.
- Attention to detail and strong time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate information to appropriate stakeholders.
- Excellent listening skills and willingness to ask and answer questions.
Nice To Haves
- 3–5 years of industry experience; electrical distribution or industrial storeroom experience is a plus.
Responsibilities

- Direct customer-site operations, including receiving, shipping, warehousing, distribution, and staffing within the Site Materials/VMI account.
- Communicate with Agilix Solutions departments to fulfill the Site Materials value proposition.
- Oversee the Business Management System for operations, sales, warehouse, and inventory processes.
- Recommend operationally efficient workflows.
