About The Position

This position is responsible for receiving and monitoring materials, parts, equipment, and tools used in the construction of geothermal power plants at various installation locations. The role involves ongoing inventory management, as well as proper storage and dispensing of materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is encouraged.
• Demonstrated material and inventory management experience is a plus.
• Ability to motivate oneself and others to set and achieve high performance standards.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be accountable for individual and team results.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to understand and communicate information needed to perform job duties safely and efficiently.
• Ability to use and learn various computer software applications for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and use of the Internet.
• Valid driver's license at all times, with a driving record acceptable to Ormat’s auto insurance carrier.
• OSHA 10 Certification.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree.
• Demonstrated experience in material and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Continuously manage site inventory.
• Coordinate material dispensing between construction crews, including company employees and subcontractors.
• Track and report materials.
• Manage, maintain, report, and present inventory data in computer files using Excel, SAP, SharePoint, or other software selected by Ormat.
• Operate a vehicle safely, including entering and exiting without assistance, remaining alert during continuous driving, and reading and understanding maps.
• Operate a forklift safely, including entering and exiting without assistance.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.
