Site Materials Manager
About The Position
The Site Materials Manager leads and develops employees to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining accuracy in daily operations and warehouse inventory. The role directs all Customer Site operations within the Site Materials/VMI account, including receiving, shipping, warehousing, distribution, and staffing. The manager works across Agilix Solutions departments to fulfill the Site Materials value proposition, oversees the Business Management System for operations, sales, warehouse, and inventory processes, and recommends operationally efficient workflows. The position reports to the VP of Business Development or VP of Branch Support.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in warehousing and inventory management.
- 3–5 years of experience managing small teams of employees.
- Knowledge of sales, administration, warehouse operations, and industrial plant workflow.
- Leadership experience involving hiring, training, supervising, and motivating employees.
- Passion for customer service and providing quality solutions to internal and external customers.
- Proficiency and comfort working with database software, including INFOR SX.E ERP, CribMaster, order entry, and job management.
- Attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate verbal and written information to appropriate stakeholders.
- Excellent listening skills and willingness to ask and answer questions.
Nice To Haves
- 3–5 years of industry experience; electrical distribution or industrial storeroom experience is a plus.
