About The Position

TAKKION is seeking a versatile and encouraging Site Manager for Fixed Site Logistics. The role works with leadership and field teams and focuses on implementing strategies to improve operations and maintenance, coordinating storage and logistics services, and managing personnel development. The Site Manager is accountable for the operations and maintenance departments and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or high school diploma with 4 years of related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team-driven attitude.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to train a diverse team.
• Ability to use technology apps and devices.
• Must have a valid ID.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.
• Able to sit for prolonged periods.
• Able to enter and exit tight areas to perform audits.
• Able to wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Able to work beyond normal operating hours as determined by business demands.
• Able to travel throughout the facility.

Nice To Haves

• One year of construction management experience.
• At least one year of experience operating heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and maintain a safe work environment across staff work functions.
• Review Safe Work Instructions and Manuals and establish new work procedures.
• Procure talent and resources to meet work demands.
• Monitor and control expenses to stay within the monthly budget.
• Validate that department purchases are coded correctly and submitted by the end of the month.
• Host customer visits to evaluate work and develop improvement plans as applicable.
• Allocate assets correctly for projects.
• Review and respond to supplier communication.
• Develop succession plans and follow the employee health strategy.
• Complete Paylocity personnel functions, including employee coaching and separation, performance reviews, timecard and expense management, and transfers.
• Arrange employee travel to support work demands throughout Company locations.
• Lead weekly operational review meetings to evaluate site-wide work and determine actions for missed opportunities.
• Complete incident and injury reports.
• Ensure equipment repair and maintenance are carried out.
• Perform other job-related duties.
