About The Position

This role is accountable for overseeing plant performance as it relates to safety, cost, machine uptime, quality, waste, and overall process reliability. The Site Manager will oversee employees and foster effective teams, ensuring a safe work environment by adhering to all IP safety and health reliable methods and federal and state OSHA requirements. This position coordinates site efforts through the Complex General Manager and other complex facilities to achieve quality targets, volume expectations, and delivery requirements. The Site Manager will work with the Complex General Manager to develop and implement short- and long-term plans to become a low-cost producer and preferred supplier for customers. Key responsibilities include managing direct reports in customer service, production, quality, shipping, scheduling, and maintenance departments, as well as developing and maintaining an effective team and organizational structure to maximize performance and drive superior customer and employee satisfaction. The role also involves managing plant assets and aligning them with strategic plans.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in production management
  • Corrugated packaging industry experience required
  • Proven in-depth manufacturing knowledge required
  • Manufacturing processes and corrugating and converting equipment knowledge required
