About The Position

BLISS Car Wash is looking for an energetic, smiling CAR WASH MANAGER to join a growing team. At BLISS, we make a difference one car at a time. The Car Wash Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations, including site upkeep, guest service, membership sales, and training a positive team. An outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for guest service is key. The manager ensures a positive experience for guests and a safe, positive working environment for employees, adhering to all company policies and local, state, and federal compliances.

Requirements

Managerial experience.
Ability to adapt to an ever-changing high-volume car wash.
Takes ownership in navigating and overcoming obstacles.
Flexibility to adapt in a variety of situations.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates (Including Fridays & Saturdays).
Demonstrate ability to improve team performance through motivation, training and setting clear expectations.
Written and Verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to multitask and have excellent organizational skills.
Must be able to lead, support, and contribute to team goals.
Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, clearly communicating operational concerns with Management, co-workers, and guests.

Nice To Haves

Experience such as car wash, retail and/or guest service industry preferred BUT NOT NEEDED.

Responsibilities

Manage site team and improve/maintain a clean, efficient site.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming for self and team.
Scheduling of site team by policy.
Ensure adherence to the schedule.
Review/Approve employee timecards.
Train the team on product knowledge, package details, upgrades, and the membership program.
Provide excellent guest experience by training the team on marketing programs.
Provide daily directions to the team and ensure safety and compliance procedures are adhered to.
Anticipate, prevent, identify, and solve problems.
Train on-site open/close process and ensure site is fully operational.
Provide strong, positive, and proactive leadership, direction, feedback, and accountability.
Give corrective actions/Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) when needed.
Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
Perform monthly OSHA training.
Perform weekly/monthly inventory on consumables.
Train the team and perform monthly consumables ordering.
Perform and train on after-hours site cleaning, including tunnel equipment, floor, walls, pit, vacuum area, walkways, and queuing area.
Ensure staffing levels meet site needs.
Interview, Recruit, Hire and train all car wash staff.
Address and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and inquiries efficiently.
Be flexible to step into any role necessary.
Responsible for compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
