About The Position

Commercial Cleaning Services (CCS) is seeking a Site Manager for one of our facilities in the GTA. The Site Manager is responsible for the daily management of janitorial services, staff performance, and service delivery excellence. CCS is a rapidly growing Building Service Contractor with over 250 clients and 1,500 employees across Canada. Requirements

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in the janitorial industry
  • Post‑secondary education in business or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning best practices, including sustainable products, tools, and equipment
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high‑performing teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technology tools
  • Positive, collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Valid G‑Class Driver’s Licence
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee janitorial staff and Site Supervisors
  • Manage service delivery in accordance with the scope of work
  • Ensure work is completed efficiently following established routes, schedules, and equipment guidelines
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards; take corrective action as needed
  • Process client work orders and follow up to ensure satisfaction
  • Resolve client concerns and prevent recurrence
  • Recommend or coordinate additional services such as equipment repairs, replacements, or periodic work
  • Manage staff performance and ensure consistent achievement of service expectations
  • Train staff on CCS quality and safety standards
  • Promote a safe work environment and ensure adherence to safe operating procedures
  • Use technology tools to complete checkpoints, close deficiencies, order supplies, and manage work orders
  • Complete payroll accurately and on time
  • Ensure compliance with required postings, communications, and health and safety policies
  • Conduct safety inspections and remove hazards to prevent accidents
  • Complete incident reports and identify root causes to prevent recurrence
  • Ensure equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored
