The Site Manager is accountable for overseeing plant performance as it relates to safety, cost, machine uptime, quality, waste, and overall process reliability. This role involves overseeing employees and fostering effective teams, ensuring a safe work environment by implementing and adhering to all safety and health reliable methods and federal and state OSHA requirements. The Site Manager coordinates site efforts through the Complex General Manager and other complex facilities to achieve quality targets, volume expectations, and delivery requirements. They also work with the Complex General Manager to develop and implement short- and long-term plans to become a low-cost producer and preferred supplier for customers. This position manages direct reports in customer service, production, quality, shipping, scheduling, and maintenance departments, and is responsible for developing and maintaining an effective team and organizational structure to maximize performance and drive superior customer and employee satisfaction. The role also includes managing plant assets and aligning them with strategic plans.
