About The Position

We are recruiting a Site Manager for one of our clients, an international family-owned food manufacturing group operating several production sites worldwide. The US entity, located in Long Island, operates its own industrial facility. The Site Manager will play a key role in leading day-to-day operations, strengthening supply chain capabilities, and supporting the company’s commercial ambitions in the US market.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field.
  • Solid experience in an industrial environment, within the food industry (mandatory).
  • Experience in environments involving raw material transformation and industrial production processes.
  • Proven track record in site or operations management, with strong exposure to production and supply chain topics.
  • Ability to structure and improve operations in a growing environment.
  • Strong understanding of the business and market dynamics.
  • Comfortable interacting with commercial teams and key clients.
  • Recognized for leadership, ability to drive change, and hands-on approach.
  • Ability to bring structure while remaining pragmatic and close to the field.
  • Experience in an international environment.
  • Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the overall performance of the production site, ensuring operational excellence while supporting business growth.
  • Leading all site operations, including production, maintenance, quality and supply chain, with a strong focus on improving processes, reliability and scalability.
  • Strengthening the supply chain function and bringing it to the next level in a fast-growing industrial environment.
  • Working closely with a strong local leadership team, including Finance and Sales, and acting as the operational backbone of the organization.
  • Playing an active role in the commercial dynamic of the business by collaborating closely with the Sales team, participating in key client meetings, attending trade shows, and contributing to developing relationships with major US customers.
  • Handling strategic topics related to customer satisfaction and operational performance.
  • Ensuring the site meets high standards in terms of productivity, quality and food safety, while complying with US regulatory requirements.
  • Acting as a true leader on site, bringing structure, accountability and clarity to the teams, and allowing Group senior leadership to step back from day-to-day operational management.
