About The Position

The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at an assigned customer site, ensuring efficient service execution, driver support, and workforce management. This role serves as the primary point of contact for drivers and partners closely with the Operations Manager to maintain service levels, safety standards, and operational performance.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and customer both orally and in writing
  • Ability to take job orders from supervisor and customer
  • Ability to get along well with others in organization
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, solve problems, and proceed with objectives without supervision
  • Participate in corrective and preventative actions and continuous improvement projects
  • Basic data entry and/or word processing skills
  • Skill in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating system
  • Skill in the use of common office machinery
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have High School Diploma
  • CDL A License required
  • Must be willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested by Supervisor
  • Must be able to be on call outside of office hours

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and retain a fleet of professional drivers
  • Organize and maintain a driver roster that can be communicated to a customer in a proactive manner
  • Order entry and completion for driver payroll and customer invoicing
  • Serves as primary contact to customer’s operations team
  • Build effective business relationships with customer and drivers
  • Partner with the customer to expand service offerings and enhance their experience
  • Track performance metrics, develop process improvements, and resolve issues that impact service levels
  • Ensure all employees are providing a high level of service while maintaining a safe work environment
  • Coaching on idle time %’s, fuel compliance, preventative maintenance, safety
  • Work with maintenance team to ensure all equipment is being maintained and serviced
  • Collaborate with senior management and customer to determine their needs and expectations and operate the account to exceed those demands
  • Conduct orientation for new hires
  • Fill in as a driver for the shuttle operation as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
