About The Position

We are looking for a hands-on Site IT Leader to own IT service delivery for our Pencader manufacturing site, which also includes lab analytics areas. In this highly visible role, you will be the primary connection between site business leaders and Corporate IT—ensuring reliable, secure, and compliant technology services that keep operations running smoothly. This onsite role reports to the IT Cluster Lead and offers the opportunity to influence local IT priorities, partner with regional and global teams, and support critical business and R&D needs. The role has no direct reports but may coordinate contractors and support work at other DuPont locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT service delivery, ideally in manufacturing, R&D, or lab environments.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, enterprise systems, and service management practices.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ITIL or similar service management frameworks preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key IT partner for site leadership, translating business needs into effective IT solutions.
  • Align local priorities with Corporate IT strategy, service expectations, funding, and delivery plans.
  • Capture Voice of Customer feedback to identify opportunities to improve IT support and performance.
  • Support R&D and manufacturing priorities that require IT infrastructure, systems, or solutions.
  • Ensure uptime, reliability, and effective support for site IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Lead incident response, critical issue escalation, and service restoration activities.
  • Oversee local infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, end-user computing, and site-specific solutions.
  • Partner with remote IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver responsive, hands-on support.
  • Maintain compliance with IT standards, security policies, service agreements, and audit requirements.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Manage vendor performance, IT procurement, assets, and lifecycle activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to site leadership on IT matters.
  • Set priorities, monitor service performance, and help manage the workload of site IT contractors.
  • Build strong partnerships with regional, global, and cross-functional teams to drive shared solutions.
  • Lead or support IT projects, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
